The amount of cake that you will need will depend on the portion size you plan to provide your guests.
Your caterer will cut your cake in either finger portions or dessert portions, like in the example opposite and not in wedge type slices as you would at a birthday.
If you plan to cut your cake and offer it to guests to help themselves, then we would suggest finger portions.
If you plan to serve your wedding cake during the meal as a dessert, we suggest the larger 'dessert portion'.
All of our tiers are approximately 5" tall, with 4 layers of sponge.
Above are some examples of different tier sizes and the portions that they provide.
Please note, these are not the only tier sizes available and we can work with you to provide you with a design that best fits your specific needs.
